A member of the RICS having qualified in 1999; he started his career at Healey & Baker in 1997 working in the Central London retail department. In 2007 he established BC Commercial with Richard Beim.

Michael is responsible for the running of the retail department acting on behalf of landlords, developers, Pension funds, letting of high Street shops and purpose built shopping Malls. He has also dealt with a substantial number of acquisitions on behalf a major retailers.

He is currently working with Henderson, AXA and Legal & General on their High Street funds and acquiring shops on behalf of O Spa London, Penhaligons, Flight Centre and Top Shop.

A founding partner of BC Commercial, Richard began life at Nelson Bakewell in 2002 within the retail agency department. After 5 years he moved to Legal & General Investment Managers working in the flagship retail fund, acquiring and asset managing property assets within all sectors of the industry.

Richard works within the investment team focusing on High Street acquisitions and disposals. Utilising his occupational and transactional experience he acts on behalf of institutions, property companies and private individuals dealing with property of all characteristics and lot sizes.

Nick joined in 2008 and specialises in occupational agency and professional work. Prior to BC Commercial he was an associate director at Churston Heard. Clients include, Targetfollow, Murdoch Group, Legal & General, Axa REIM, Crumpler and Flight Centre.

Jonathan has over 10 years experience working exclusively in the out of town retail investment market. In that time he has advised a number of the leading institutions including Prupim, F&C Reit, CBRE Investors, Axa REIM and Hermes. Successful acquisitions include Auldhouse Retail Park, Glasgow, Emersons Green Retail Park, Bristol, The Rock Retail Park, Birkenhead, South Ruislip Retail Park, Ruislip and Windmill Shopping Park, Smethwick.

George has accumulated a wealth of experience in the central London office market. Having qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1999, he spent the early part of his career in West End office agency department specialising in both acquisition and disposal work in projects ranging in size from 1,000 – 100,000 sq ft.

He subsequently moved to the central London Investment team where he built strong relationships with a variety of clients including AXA CIS, Liberty PLC, F&C, Frogmore, Land Securities, RBS, Walbrook Land and Lyndal Mount. George joined BC Commercial as a director in central London Investment in June 2009.

Julian joined BC Commercial in 2010, having graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a 2:1 in Real Estate Management. Julian assists Michael and Nick in the retail agency team dealing with disposals, acquisitions and rent reviews for a variety of different clients.
